Roland Barthes
"the writer can only imitate a gesture that is always anterior, never original. his only power is to mix writings, to counter the ones with the others, in such a way as never to rest on any one of them."

spot me.
i've hardly written in my journal or blog.
i don't feel compelled to.
(which doesn't necessarily mean nothing is happening.)

morning has broken
i've almost forgotten what it is like to wake up early and take a walk.
(so early the sun was not out yet.)
the uneasiness of an empty stomach. a cold nose and red cheeks. the buzz of morning traffic.

what do you go home to?
i will try my best to not make this post sound resentful/angry/upsetting because it is not.
but lately i been having a hard time understanding people and their motivations.
-friends who rather stay home a weekend to watch movies even when you call them crying and asking for company.
-people who say they care but don't talk to you.
-family members who keep quiet.
friends/people/family members who let you down.

late monday or early tuesday.
I am dead tired, mondays are usually the busiest day of my week.
today I:
discussed scopic regimes of modernity
(cartesian perspectivism, art of describing and madness of vision. to be exact)
had lunch by myself
attended an interesting lecture by Monica Mayer
(i really enjoyed her concept of Biofilia)
did pilates
had coffee with a long lost friend.
had a long walk and a held a decent conversation.
played with Mico the cat.
started reading a book.
